Smith Director of Christian Education Christian Education: At Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church we recognize the importance of Christian Education.  Our Pastor preaches the gospel from the Bible. We teach sound biblical principles to all persons seeking to deepen their faith, develop their spiritual gifts, and better themselves and the world through Christ Jesus. Through effective Christian education, we can unite with God to provide the space and the place for the Holy Spirit to inspire maturing disciples to a deeper appreciation and understanding of the faith placed in them. Sunday School (for all ages) - Our sole purpose is to train and nurture God's children in the faith and to support each other as disciples.  Sunday school is only one of the many opportunities for fostering faith that extends from the church, to the home, and into the world. Weekly Bible Study - Bible study is another vital element of growth for the Church.  We feel that Bible study should be a must for the church membership, it is an opportunity for asking questions, getting an understanding, and gives illumination.  Our purpose is to equip members and any persons desiring to enhance their knowledge of God's written Word.  We welcome you to join us as we grow together studying the Word of God.  II Timothy 2:15 tells us, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
