The purpose of the Deacon’s ministry is to function as servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. They will serve in and through the church in various positions.  They will support the Pastor in enabling the church to fulfill God’s agenda.

The Deacons of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church engage in Deacons Ministry by assisting and supporting the Pastor and serving those in need in the congregation and the community according to their gifts and abilities.

Inspire us, Heavenly Father, to be generous in our giving, winsome in our witnessing, passionate in our praying, lovely in our living, and truthful in our talking.  We give thee all that we are and have: through Christ, Our Lord and Savior.
