Pastor Michael Curry and the members are elated that you decided to visit us. Our goal is to ensure that this site serves as an effective vehicle of inspiration, communication and education. HGMBC is here to serve you! We welcome your feedback about your experiences with us and how we can enhance the quality of those experiences.

Our church building was totally destroyed by a storm on February 18, 2009.  While the church building is gone we as a church family are continuing on with God’s mission for us. We are currently preaching and teaching God’s word in temporary locations but we are in the planning stages of rebuilding our church building. 

We are thankful to God for all those who have been so generous to give to our rebuilding effort. We thank God for your love and your generous spirit toward your fellow man.

We had the ground breaking services for the new building on Sunday July 19^th and it is our hope that God will allow us to be back in the house that He has led us to build by the second quarter of 2010. The new sanctuary will be called the House of Promise for we are relying on God’s promises that He will continue to bless us and keep us.  We are relying on God to do a great things in the lives of the people in our community. We are also relying on God to do Great things in our community through the members of Hickory Grove.
