Who we are

We are the Men of Promise, which are Christian men of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church. We are committed to fulfilling the vision of our Pastor by Drawing, Developing, and Deploying Men for the Cause of Christ.

We have created this ministry and dedicated our efforts to accomplish this vision by participating in one or more of the following Men’s Ministries: Male Chorus, Men of Praise, The Transportation Ministry and assisting in the Cooking Ministries and others.

 

Men’s mission

We serve God by serving each other.  The men at Hickory Grove are involved in many different ministries. We sing in the Male Chorus and the Senior Choir; We assist in the Kitchen Ministry; We serve as Ushers; Many of us are Deacons or Trustees; We are drivers for the Transportation Ministry, We assist in fund raising events and many other church related projects.

We are a group of men worshipping and serving the Lord. We continually lift each other up in prayer.  We encourage each other, and support members who are facing difficulties and struggles in their lives.

We invite any man who loves God to join with the men at Hickory and be a part of this ministry.
