The mission of the Music Ministry of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church is to minister to the Lord, our church, and the community-at-large by ushering in the presence of God through evangelistic music, thereby revealing the glory of God through praise and worship. 

 

Choirs at HMBC
The Music Ministry of HGMBC is comprised of 3 choirs.
Children and Youth Choir   ages  5 - 23    Ministers on the 4^th Sunday of the month
Senior Choir                    ages 21 & up    Ministers on the 1^st & 2^nd Sunday of the month
Male Chorus                    ages 18 & up    Ministers on the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of the month

 

Male Chorus

 

Lifting up praises to the Lord in song is the chosen ministry of the Male Chorus. The ministry serves as the HGMBC all-male choir, and is part of the Music Ministry.

They sing their joyous praises to the Lord on the 3^rd Sunday of each month. They also sing on special occasions and upon direction of the Pastor. Come and be a part of this group of men lifting their voices to the Lord in praise.

Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is made up of young people on fire for the Lord.  They sing with uplifting voices on  the 4^th Sunday.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir has been singing for many years and they sing with the anointing of The Holy Spirit. They sing on 1^st and 2^nd Sundays.
